Clients

When you export an estimate, QUIPA looks for an exact client Display Name match in QuickBooks. If none exists, it creates a new client with the account details from QUIPA.

Import existing clients through QuickBooks Connect first so names match. After that, create new clients in QUIPA; they will export when you send their first estimate.

Products & Services

QUIPA exports fabrication items, fees, and products when you create an estimate. It looks for an exact name match in QuickBooks Products/Services; otherwise, it creates a new item.

We recommend renaming existing QuickBooks items to match QUIPA exports to retain their categories and ledger accounts. Alternatively, let QUIPA create new items, then adjust their categories or accounts in QuickBooks.
